CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS)–Camden Police are hoping surveillance video will help them catch two brazen criminals who attempted to abduct a woman, Tuesday morning, less than a block from City Hall, by stuffing her into a trash can.
According to police, on the morning of January 21st, two black males approximately 5’10” to 6’0” tall, dressed in dark robes and head coverings, entered the Zoujati Salon on N. 6th Street where the victim was opening the store by herself.
The suspects then allegedly showed the woman that they had a weapon and forced her into a trash can.
Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson says, “They stick her into a trash can, they had brought one of those large 55 gallon trash cans, and then wheeled the can out front.”
