NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Police say they are investigating the deaths of a woman and two children in Queens.

The discovery of a 21-year-old woman and two little girls aged 3 and 1 inside of a Sutphin Boulevard apartment left neighbors stunned, CBS 2’s Hazel Sanchez reported.
“I’m in total shock at this moment,” neighbor Michael Morales said.
Police said that the woman identified by friends as Daisy Garcia and the two children were found stabbed to death.
Garcia’s friends rushed to the scene upon hearing the tragic news.
“Kind of a shock. Nobody really thought that would happen,” Sarei Hernandez said.
Authorities told CBS 2 that they do not believe the deaths were part of a murder-suicide. No note was found on the scene.
