MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A man involved in police chase last month, which resulted in a deadly wrong way crash on I-95, went before a judge Thursday morning.

Willie Dumel, 25, was released from the hospital on Wednesday and was booked into Miami-Dade’s jail on four counts of vehicular homicide and one count of driving with a suspended license.

Sporting two broken legs from the crash, Dumel’s bond was set at $100,000. If he’s able to make bail, he would have to wear a GPS monitoring device. Dumel was also ordered held for violation of probation.

The chase and crash happened on April 3rd. After making an improper right hand turn in Opa-locka, Dumel took off when police tried to pull him over. He drove toward I-95.
